Dota 6.61 BetaDota 6.61 Beta - Dota-Allstars 6.61 Beta Map is Leaked! Looks like there will be less new content on Dota 6.61, but a lot of balance has been made. Let's check it out!

Dota 6.61 Beta 3 Map Changelogs:

* Fixed natural regeneration on rax
* Fixed Living Armor not regenerating structures properly
* Fixed incorrect sell value on some aghanim scepters
* Fixed Double Damage visual effect to properly show when the user is using low graphics mode
* Reduced Double Edge cooldown (25->12)
* Watchers now have collision. They also have 400 less vision range and give +40 more bounty.
- Various misc code fps stuff
- Undid Sil armor change
- Fixed Reverse Polarity, it properly places them infront of you now
* Fixed an error in the damage calculation method for Plasma Field
* Reduced FPS drops when using Shiva's Guard and Plasma Field with some custom import files (PGRu-Unexpect3D)
* Improved Faceless Void's base strength (17->23)
* Restored original cooldown improvement on Scepter for QoP
* Improved Searing Arrows damage from 10/20/30/40 to 20/30/40/50
* Increased projectile speed on Mystic Snake
* Lowered Stone Gaze cooldown (70->35)
* Sven's Storm bolt now uses the normal unit targeting scheme. No gameplay changes, just the interface visuals.
* Fixed -ns mode
* Fixed Napalm not properly stacking and doing higher constant values [needs playtesting since it may be too useless now]
* Slightly increased Eyes in the Forest cast range (+25) to fix some order issue bugs [make sure u can't abuse it]
* Casting Nature's Guise on an allied unit will no longer take you out if if you have it on you
* Reverse Polarity now pulls units slightly infront of you instead of all around you
* Lowered Magic Stick/Wand cooldown from 25 to 17
* Added a new icon for Slardar's Bash (3587)

Well, i think Dota 6.61 will be focused on balances. But i still cannot see the Tauren Chieftain or Batrider changes in the changelogs, maybe it will be added on next beta map. Anyway, enjoy the new map!

  3. Yeah, i agree, Faceless Void is so fragile in the current version T_T Btw:
    Slightly increased Eyes in the Forest cast range (+25) to fix some order issue bugs [make sure u can't abuse it]
    Does anybody know is this abuse?

    In 6.60 Napalm stacked incorrectly and was giving too large of a damage increase, the new change supposedly fixes that.

    most of d changes are requested from playdota!
    We suggested to bring back QoP ultimate upgrade, increase range for eyes in the forest, lower stone gaze cooldown, increase speed for mystic snake and yes he did it.
    Also, we suggested to remake silencer CotS and clinkz but instead of remake, he buffed them!
    And many more!

  10. Lol,I was the one who requested Akasha's aghanim's be back as it used to be...I didn't expect it to be added so soon..Let's hope he'll implement my other 2 hero balances as well...

    Also Alief,the magic stick wasn't undid,it was just slightly reduced,no ? O_o

  11. @sadface - Yes, it's only slightly reduced the cooldown. Now it has 17 sec cooldown. The current version is 25 sec.

  13. @above - If you read the post first, you will see that i clearly mention the source since this post was published. I always aimed to give this blog reader the latest news about Dota from various source. And if i take/quote from other sites, i definitely will mention it source. And that's the etiquette of blogging which most of the blogger fail. Honestly, adding that blog as my source is not a fun thing since many thing has happen between us (regular reader of my blog must know this).   18. Alief, I think you should stop sharing beta maps (screenies are fine).
    From what I know, Icefrog discourages all forms of beta map sharing, especially on playdota.com
    If you still insist, I can't really stop you, but please only share betas with those huge changelogs. Give Icefrog the "luxury" of releasing a minor version without getting the betas leaked.

    6.61 will not come out soon so excpect much more changes(the 2 nerfs of course).
    I don't think there's a need to change zeus(his perfect allready)
    and a str zeus wont have mana to spam spells,its totally unsynergizing with his skills.
    On the other hand i don't mind some visual changes(white to yellow colour of thunders)

  31. LOL....maybe that guy want zues from the film "Hercules", his thunder is yellow...nghahaha but changes on his ulti thunder colour its good . Because some time if u 1v1 with zues, u dunno if he giving ulti or his 2nd skill...

    if his ulti more damage than now, he totally gay man....

    hi,well i agree about the dark terror.
    there is some kind of bug about the TROLL,the bug is:if u use the 4th skill in ranged mode n u change the atack mode to mele then the 4th skill end.it takes me like..0,6 sec to press R n G.i dont know meaby u all know it meaby you dont

  36. I finished creating a playable techies build.

    1. 'Suicide Bomber"
    - Techies attaches a bomb on a unit. When the unit dies it deals X damage. Starts with neutral and allied units then increases to enemy units and heroes as well.

    Not imba since it only goes off if the unit dies. Similar to Naix infest, and Crixalis's explosion upon kill abilities.

    2. "Goblin Rockets"
    - Techies lights up fireworks hoping to hit something. Fires X rockets striking random units in an AOE around techies. Increases to more rockets and larger AOE. Not sure if when u are alone with techies, should all rockets target u like Leshrac Edict? Or still random like Crystal Maid's ult.

    The exact ability of the Mech goblin from the popular custom map "Rabbits vs. Sheep"

    3. "Mines"
    - same unchanged

    4. "You want some of this?!?!" [ULTIMATE]
    - Techies sets out a gatling gun and starts firing. Channeling. Targets weakest units similar to razor's ult but has spill damage range past the target like lanaya's psi blade. Hence it is channeling.

  38. Enigma has good skills but I don't see much of Enigma because of his low STR.

    I think Enigma needs to have higher base STR.

    His HP is too low o.o

    Well, it did take me soem time to find your dource reference hidden at the bottom of your entry. Perhaps you can include another at the start of the entry. And it would help if you type in the name of the source eg. "Source: playdota.com"

    FV weak in 6.60b to justify a +6 str buff? How about AM? AM nerfed from 21 base str (+1.9 per lvl) to 16 base str (+1.5 per lvl)

    true strike only hit evasion, backtrack n enemy on hill.True strike make you don't miss the attack. That what i know.

    Mortred is skill blur, of coz his blur is no longer useful to evade attack if enemy MKB true strike is activated...

    True Strike (I think) only affect Miss, Dodge, and Evasion. Pseudo-Evasion such as Backtrack, Dispersion, Gravekeeper, Borrowed Time, Aphotic Shield, Refraction, Shallow Grave, and Craggy Exterior aren't affected by True Strike, because they are triggered, not a proc/chance.

    We wait 6.61 to be released, and the AI map will be released 1 or 2 months later... It tooks long time, but we must still wait, because 6.60 and 6.61 gave much good stuff...

  47. Razor ulti will reduce the armor by 1 to every foes that its attack and it stacking.. and with static link + unstable current + eye storm. the enemy will cry if being chase in the jungle or alone..

  48. i think giv void str 17->23 is a good thing but i prefer void gain str more much better..

    bcoz everytime i c void on this new map so fragile n weak even early or late game...

    farming also hard.. T.T

    this game 5 on 5 teammate..

    so make it gain str void upp!!

Fv is fine and good..just in this current version he's hp just so fragile with the nuke combo he cannot survive early game even to mid game. but dun underestimate he's skill with lvl 4 of bash, bactrack + mom and power thread you alrdy can even soloing the anchient also he's ulti can do many combo if you very well use on it.

    eventhough he fragile in the early game, he still can escape or run using his first skill....

If Icefrog's idea of "buffing" Nerubian Weaver is making him able to actually block paths or something like that, we need to give him a smacking up the head. If it's not something like that, i can't ever see why ANYONE would nerf Weaver.
