Dota-Allstars 6.61b AIDota-Allstars v6.61b AI+ 1.53 Pre Alpha 3 Map Download. KillerBee has just made another release. More mode is available (including -ne & -ng, yay!) and the shadow orb(and other strange items) is removed. The item build also changed into a new one, not just bracers like the Pre Alpha 2.

Dota 6.61b AI+ PA3 complete changelogs:

Changed the default item build to a new one
AI will now show on the scoreboard
The following AI gamemodes should now work: -st/-mc/-hg/-ng/-he/-ne/-de
Fixed a few non-DotA items from being purchased by the AI

I mean, they made the OMG version meaning more or less they Isolated the skills w/c is what BMP is doing now. Just a thought...

  7. I don't know how to contact this killerbee fellow, but there are lots of tiny fixes that could be made to vastly improve the games AI. Like forced laning for the first ten minutes or something. I've gone into a lane, and had four AI follow me into it at the beginning of the game. That = suck.

  8. These bots dont defend the base. Towers, buildings and the final core (bigtree or bigcrystal).
    Actually this is the same problem the BMP'maps have. Is it a so damn difficult bug to fix? (serious question. I dont know shit about programming)

  9. i had the same situation with Sunchilde.. and the AI simply just threw their Healing Salve at the base.. so i simply just picked them up and use them myself.. BMP's map is better IMHO.

  11. Nice map. The only real problem I've encountered is frequent crashes, especially late game. Otherwise, the map is very good for a pre-alpha version.

  12. hey alief why don't you post also cipd's map here,they are also interesting same with killerbee's map.
    Although they're still 6.59 AI+

    here's his changelog and I quote

    Time for an Update:

    Since it's been a while, heh. I've had quite a few free cycles recently to work on the script, and have been doing so. Unfortunately, there's just so much to do. =/ I haven't had a chance to finish rewriting certain parts, but script integration has been going fantastically. Though I haven't finished with a large part of the script (including the part where the heroes use their abilities, haha), I do have a basic 6.60b version of the map where the AI will behave as they did in previous versions, though without using many of their new abilities.

    Come to think of it, that's not all that dissimilar from those old AI injection maps. Then again, what I'm doing isn't all that dissimilar from AI injection. Heh.

    Anyway, still quite a ways to go before this is anywhere near finished, but if people really just want to play with 6.60b features against supremely stupid bots (except for the heroes that haven't changed since 6.59), I can probably put up an unfinished map sometime soon. I'd like to at least finish rewriting the levelling system and possibly rethinking the item purchasing system I currently have in place, but we'll see.

    I have seen the OMG map floating around and know that some people have been asking for its addition. In reality, it's probably not all that difficult...I took a look, and mechanic used to assign abilties is an adaptation of the mechanism I created for Formless, so it should be pretty easy to modify my functions to make it work for a hypothetical OMG mode. Realistically though this is pretty low on my list of things to do at the moment.

    Anyway, that's that. Haven't updated the counter in a while, I have some 60+ new messages in my inbox that are variants of the same question that I'll eventually have to sort through.

  21. hey, I haven't play this ai map, but I have same suggestions for ai which I can't find in BMP's.

    1. great ganking ability (ambush)
    2. withdrawing when 2+ enemies vs 1 (except some conditions when 2+ v 1 is possible to win)
    3. command for attacking enemy
    4. properly defend structure.
    5. kill enemy hero even the enemy is behind the tower, if possible

    yeah, that's only my suggestion, but I hope it can be realized. I'm downloading the map right now.

  23. after played the game, I encountered a glitch: suddenly it was getting lag, and the few seconds the screen stop moving, only a lag sound heard. I don't know wht was happened, but I never experienced such glitch in my precious game..

    and :
    I never saw ai used any of it's ultimate skill.. hope it will be fixed.

  26. ai doesnt pick their heroes
    they always have the same build
    2 bracers, healing salve and a ROR. and also they always buy ring of health, and go for vanguard. and they dont go to their assigned lanes

  27. the ai always goes for strength items early game(2 bracers RoR boots salve blah eventually goes vanguard) and goes for butterfly and stygian late game or when money is available..

    the builds are not really pro but just enough to practice throwing hero damage with, hence the strength items..

    lolz..an attack based storm spirit? w/c doesn't have mp regen items at all and doesnt use skills anyway? and yet this stupid ai w/c does not use skills actually took down a sven i was practicing with? haha..reminds me of myself during my early days..

    anyway, the ai's throw synergized skills..cool..seriously..but i wish the -pe was fixed, can't use it pa e...

    In a response to that MyBrute post, you will need a master that actually fights and wins battles a lot of them, than you will grow much faster, like for example this master: http://byspartanlaw.mybrute.com/cellule

    Good luck with that, though you will actually need a lot less luck now! DotA is way cooler though.

  39. I really happy coz Dota-Allstars v6.61b AI+ 1.53 Pre Alpha 3 Map released, but honestly this map is not as good as 6.59 AI+ map. The movement of the ally or enemy heroes really weird and they always buy ring and health pot at the beginning then put them at the fountain. One more, athropos skill number 3 (sleep) was really a god skill (Just try it). Anyway i really hope that there will be a new complete Ai map soon. Thx

  41. well as the others say, this map is better than Pre-Alpha2 (of course) but Pre-Alpha2 did not give me the weird crash-lag thingy
    whenever there are many units in one place and/or casting spells, it is the recipe for the crash-lag - only occur on the mid-late game
    AI still drop salve, portal scroll, and RoR
    at early game, AI gone too far from base, roaming around, makes difficult when a lane is off-guard
    i think they should behave like AI on 6.59, they're the best i think

  44. ok heres the bug i found, now i have a fairly decent computer amd athalon x2 2.8ghz X64 2 gigs dual channel ram, a gig video card, but anyways what happens in combat when the computers get treads, well at least with leviathan drow ranger and dark seer they would rapidly switch between the various forms of power treads, and it caused the game to slow down massively so much infact that my computer ended up freezing, its something to look into or maybe its just a fluke

AI scripts are so much different with original map making.. the AI makers need to match everything in the ai map to work with the original map n if u ask icefrog to release AI maps too, dun regret that he only would be releasing 3-4maps only a year since it would take a very long time.. n btw.. AI maps arent stable.. BMP is trying his best to work on a new AI script that would function almost perfect with Icefrog's map

  58. Hmmmm.... I Seee Every Hero Using The Same Build They All Normaly Go For 2 Bracer + Ring Of Regen... And Next They Go For Threads And Vanguard .. Even INT Heros Are Going For Vanguard... Perhaps All Hero ... Welll Home KillerBee Will Do Something to it .___.

  59. As far as I know (which is not very much as map making goes), DoTA maps are obfuscated (by writers) in order to stop others interfere with them (I guess).

    This makes AI writers like BMP not only adapt AI to the new heroes/changes but also to unofuscate each new map, in order to be able to edit them.

    I guess this is a very unpleasant and time consuming efford, this is why there are so few AI writers out there.

    IceFrog (first thanks for giving such a dedicated effort and making this community possible) may share unobfuscated code with few proven AI writers (like Buffmeplz). And if there is really such a need as hiding the code they can also obfuscate that.

    As for hiding the code, there is this old argument about someone ripping off your work, but let that be guys. There may be lots of DoTA versions, but most will stick to the IceFrog versions. And in a very short time the ones that do not deserve attention will be eliminated. And there may even be a possibility that some others (who may or may not be lazy enough to write a DoTA map from scratch) will come up with wonderful ideas and may still have a chance to contribute to the community.

    I humbly would like to see AI Maps being official and by cooperation of IceFrog and others.
