Dota Capture Point Mode Guide | -cp (-capturepoint)

Dota 6.67 has a new fun game mode that somewhat requires more teamwork and coordination than the usual game. This mode is called Capture Point. In this mode, you can capture certain point by standing on the spotted location on the map above. The duration to capture the point is depends on the how many heroes are there. The more the faster you are.

Now we're not only fight to kill enemy heroes and destroy their tower. The capture points appear after 10 minutes at the fixed locations around the map. Once the capture points are created, those areas are permanently visible to both teams for the rest of the game.

As i said before, we must standing at a certain amount of times. If you're alone, it takes 60 seconds. If all five heroes are there, it only takes 12.5 seconds. The important thing is there cannot be any enemy heroes at a point you are trying to capture. So, you must kill any enemy heroes approaching your targeted point. Heroes cannot be invisible while on a capture point area. Illusions do not count as heroes when on top of a Capture Point.

The capture points consist of 3 types. If you get 2 of the same type then they stack. For example, if you have both Combat you get 28 bonus damage and 8 bonus armor.

Combat - CP Type 1 [Bonus Damage/Armor]: Increases your Damage by 14 and Armor by 4 (Twice of each if you have both)
Regen - CP Type 2 [Bonus Health/Mana Regeneration]: Increases your Health Regeneration by 4 and Mana Regeneration by 1
Speed - CP Type 3 [Bonus Movement/Attack Speed]: Increases your Movement Speed by 4% and Attack Speed by 12%

Duplicates of each type are available on opposite sides of the map.

The game announces when an enemy captures a point. It is also visible on the minimap which areas you have captured and which areas the enemy has. When you capture a point, your team's heroes gain bonuses to various attributes as stated above and all allied heroes in that area will get healed for 200 hp/mp, gain 150 bonus gold and bonus xp (4 creeps worth).

Even though it will need some times to let the players learn the rule, looks like Capture Point Mode will be a fun alternative mode when you're tired with the usual Captain Mode or All Pick mode. I will update this post when i got more information, tips and guide. Meanwhile, share your experience and your though about this new mode in here :)
