Nightcrawler - Dota 6.65 New Hero?

IceFrog has just post a Dota 6.65 teaser on his blog today. And inside, there's only a video without any comment. But the title is enough to explain everything, that the new hero inside this video is named Nightcrawler. The hero is somehow invisible and has a brown cloud above his head. Geez, i'm curious what kind of hero is that. If you wanna find out, watch below video! ;)
Curious? For your information, Nightcrawler is taken from X-Men character. His ability is able to turned himself into a cloud/smoke. Watch below Nightcrawler video, maybe IceFrog will take the original character into the model :)

If having a Mael/MJ is a skill then yes lighting is one of his skills.
Ya and it does totally look imba.. from not knowing a single ability except he seems to have perma invis at night that shows smoke so its not really invis since you can easy mode dust him. Im sure their be tons of awfuls calling him imba thou.
If it has perma-invis at night,with night stalker in your team it will be more imba

new hero? first is rupture. And second is ulti's razor + lothar edge (enemy sight+slow motion).
i think he has mjolnir against viper..against kardel i dunno what is it..what i saw is a backstab animation..correct me if im wrong..it is also i think he has the ability jaz like blur of mort which he is semi-invi but w/ faster movement speed buff..
how to target it I wonder...looks kinda blur...IMBA by the way

I think the hero will be added instead of rikimaru and will have same figure us riki. Also I think he will have one of riki's abilities - backstab damage, and maybe this abilities:
slow enemies, move faster and the ulti - go invise with night.

Well he hasnt got blur, just look: Theres no healthbar.
And he wont be permainvis @night. Theres Riki for that.The only way he could use that is Riki being replacd by NC.
Most interesting: Ne doesnt get revealed when attacking, like Zero fading time. Might be interesting. He ill be overpowered though. Its Icefrogs usual behaviour^^
could it be a new invulnerable boss who just wanders the map and if it cathes you bye-bye ?

After doing some quick tests, I found that hero. His name is Slark, the Murloc Nightcrawler. As far as I can tell, he had two skills in the beta.
Skill 1) Like Charge of Darkness. Except you become invisible and leave a dark trail behind. Cast range is around 700 maybe,
Skill 2) I didn't get to test it out, but I recall it being something like Track. You gain sight of the hero and the hero loses sight of everything except you. I'm not sure if this is correct, but that's what I remember reading.
I can't be sure if this hero is anything like the one Icefrog showed in the trailer, but its something to keep you thinking :D
This update means that dota 6.65 is coming closer!

Nightcrawler`s ability in X-men is teleportation[disappears in black smoke and appears somewhere else kinda like QoP blink].
most probably not a new boss since IceFrog puts then on X.X9 versions [6.49 for invoker 6.59b for TC]
anyways seems easy to counter, when you see a trail of smoke , dust or ward it , if all else fails TP is your friend

he doesn't turn into smoke... he just phases out and phases in on another place with a smoke effect, so i really hope he has some sort of teleport or blink ability
i think his skill increase the percentage of orb effect from item happening becoz if the maim and lighting is part of his abilities it will be super imba

? I'm not sure if Icefrog based anything off of this but the name makes me think. Hmm =^)
I doubt those two links give much information about the new hero. We have only seen his smokey skill and that isn't reflected in any of the suggestions.
Also, do remember that dota-allstars.com is no longer official, and Icefrog probably only takes ideas from Playdota nowadays. After some searching, I have not found anything that fits. Therefore, assume Icefrog came up with it himself.

i would like to see what this 'new hero' is in 6.65...but with the mysteriousness of this video and the music and how it's just a 'smoke monster' thing would it be more suitable for 6.66?

He is imba..look it kill viper and sniper so fast because of sniper and viper less hp gain..if no vanguard..
Wel..at that link icefrog firsts suggests a double butterfly double mkb build and then clearly says that butterfly shouldn't be part of his build...so i am a bit confused overall , and even more by his abilities

What no one is taking care about is that in the last scene that creep got more than 250 dmg just meeting his path, that's the only very scary thing imo.

Attacking without being seen in the night, maybe. It's the result of permanent invisibility stacking.
It looks liken in the video, that nightcrawler is semi-ranged, like Templar Assassin.
its just in a beta mode, for sure icefrog will balance him.. looks like a definite end game hero like riki but who knows..
aside from the new hero i also wish a hero remake, like pudge, he is almost useless at 5v5 aside from his hook, at least change his ulti, like regenerating his life when using dismember coz he's actualy eating the flesh right?

now that mjolnir has been reworked, there's only 1 core agi item, which uses the eaglehorn

LOL @ people getting worked up at how imba the new hero is. This is a mere teaser so the hero was intended to be imba just to showcase a little of his abilities. The finished product will definitely be toned-down, and won't be as overly imba as what you've seen in this teaser video (but still imba, though, as Ice has this habit of releasing new heroes with imba skill mechanics to collect feedback from players and later on tweak and balance the hero's skills with the rest of the roster.)
I've tried to read the comments but there are too many retarded ones so I didn't make it. That's why I apologize if I don't say anything new.
But the thing is that if you were with this blog for some time you should remember info about nightcrawler - it's the murloc hero who was implemented in map code long ago but wasn't finished at that time. He had ability making him charge his prey rendering the target hero blind (he could only see a murloc) and some other ability (only two at that time). Now IceFrog apparently finished him and intends to add him into 6.65 or maybe later.
And the blood/lightning are obviously orb effect animations from sange/s&y and maelstrom/mjolnir, duh.
and btw, gotta add that the way he killed sniper/viper doesn't say anything about his being any sort of imba - you know absolutely nothing about items/levels difference between nightcrawler and sniper/viper, they can have no items at all and 1lvl and he can have anything (like s&y/maelstrom minimum, judging from orb effect animations).
duh.
To all of you who say he's imba, here's the cold hard truth for you: He is NOT. Any hero with an invis skill is inherently weak to dust+disable and if you noticed, they don't really seem to have alot of hp, do they? Furthermore, his invis leaves a frigging black cloud FFS. This means that he virtually cannot sneak up/gank/ambush a hero unless you're that dumb as to not carry a tp. Which means you deserve to get killed, btw. So if you see nightcrawler coming what do you do? Simple. TP in his face. (Same thing goes for a bone that's dumb enough not to get MKB)

1)Nightcrawler's Flashbang
Casting this spell NC damages evbdy, slowing their movespeed by 35% and and prevents them from attacking, lasts 2.5 sec
Level 1 - Deals 120 damage and has a 200 AOE.
Level 2 - Deals 200 damage and has a 240 AOE.
Level 3 - Deals 280 damage and has a 270 AOE.
Level 4 - Deals 330 damage and has a 300 AOE.
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Mana cost: 100/110/120/130
The casting time is 1 second.
The casting range is 400
2)Creates a defense around himself giving him a chance to reflect the percentage of the damage taken.
Level 1 - 10% chance to reflect the 120% of the nightcrawler's received damage.
Level 2 - 10% chance to reflect the 150% of the nightcrawler's received damage.
Level 3 - 10% chance to reflect the 180% of the nightcrawler's received damage.
Level 4 - 10% chance to reflect the 200% of the nightcrawler's received damage.
3) Passive
Becomes invisible at night. If he starts to attack the opponent or use any skill he will again become visible. Just like Rikimaru ulti
Level 1 - The nightcrawler becomes invisible when night. Has 8 seconds fade time.
Level 2 - The nightcrawler becomes invisible when night. Has 7 seconds fade time.
Level 3 - The nightcrawler becomes invisible when night. Has 6 seconds fade time.
Level 4 - The nightcrawler becomes invisible when night. Has 5 seconds fade time.
4) Ulti
Death Stab
Attacking in face (sorry for my gram. >_<), he deals more damage. Attacking the enemy's back slows it by the 30%.
Level 1 - adds a bonus 25% of damage.
Level 2 - adds a bonus 50% of damage.
Level 3 - adds a bonus 75% of damage.
Orb Effects do not stack

2nd spell: She active an aura give all ally heroes the ability to run more fast.( Same spell of Rylai but here its not mana regen, it is increased movement speed)
3rd spell: When an ally hero is dead, she have the ability : vengeance for move more fast,attack more fast, and have a mana regeneration incresed.
4th spell : She aims at a zone which will make tremble the earth and give to the enemy units the vertigo ( the screen will moved ).
Please, agree this hero
