Dota-Allstars Video: Who's the Killer? (The Answer Revealed)

I just found out this video today on Dota-Allstars forums. The video is giving me the creeps.. When you watch this, make sure your speaker is on, you will know what i mean ^_^ Anyway, this video is asking who's the killer. Watch the murder scene carefully! Every single details can lead you to the answer. Wow, maybe i watch Meitantei Conan too much lol :)

Already watch it? I'm sure you want to repeat the murder scene at least twice. Now, give your best shot. When i'm posting this, the answer is not yet confirmed. But some people already give some shots. So while waiting for Dota 6.56 AI come out, happy guessing! :D

Update: Here is the answer :)

So for both murder the method are same, using the explosion from the dying Blue Necronomicon. Cheers for you who give the right answer! :)

  4. from what i think. 1st scene, ezalor's illuminate hit the right side of the screen, you can't see it b'coz the screen zoomed in. 2nd scene, mortred killed ursa. as you can see, there's a miss on the right side of ursa. hmm, other possible answers would be yurnero's bladefury + lothars, dark seer's ion shell on weaver's watcher or undying's heartstopper aura.

  5. Its very obvious...
Its a watcher with a ion shell...
1st scene if u c the hp carefully..
    it goes down vry fast....
    Can be said vry abnormal...
2nd scene the miss is bcoz of the radience effect..
The most possible is watcher with ion shell.. since it cant be seen or dmg by any mgc xcpet 4 ion shell

  6. 2nd scene cannot be watcher with ion shell as ursa is carrying a radiance. Any watchers nearby would kill by radiance effect.

  7. Its Goblin techies the great hehehe techies SS!

  8. well, the first thing i thought after watching the vid is Undying's Heartstopper aura

  9. Here is some hint:
    1. In both case, the view is from the murderer, because you can see the gold he got.
    2. In the first case, watch that not only Magnataur died, but also the neutral creeps.
    3. The map used is 6.55

Well? Any idea ^_^? Don't worry, the maker will give the answer on 2-3 weeks. But let's solve the case before it :)

  13. Well, it just cant be a watcher with ion shield bcuz in both cases magnataur and ursa had enought life, and then they both lost their lifes with 1 shot, so it had to be a nuke spell... some spells are not visible when they are casted on the fog, now i wonder wich nuke spell could be :P

  19. the second one .. PA went to kill it but died himself as he left one dot life because ursa dead too . And if that video was a replay, all invis would be seen but PA wont . The first one i think is watcher wif ion shell but i can confirm that bounty hunter was there as it add 75 gold .

    ReplyDelete
  20. It can't be PA..
If PA was there we must hv seen the radience animation.....
The most possible thing is watcher wif ion shell....
if bounty hunter was there u can c the bounty hunter after it hits magnus wif shuriken or the crit dmg after it hits magnus

    ReplyDelete
  21. garena u almost confuse me, taht +75 gold is becoz of the nuetral creep lah.......= =

first i guess is ezalor, coz magnus still got a little hp if u see carefully, then suddenly he die liao.

second a bit hard, i think pa is there, and just kill that poor ursa, but i just cant believe got ppl roshaning without pressing alt. if got press alt sure can see pa. so i think some invi unit wif the ion shell maybe also the correct answer.

    ReplyDelete
  22. It cant be watcher leh . watcher die when radiance is near . maybe no bounty hunter is correct . but scond one i still think is pa wif very very low life blink inside and kill but he die himself . radiance may because too fast .

  23. If it is PA we ca see the shadow near usra aredi....

  24. rooftrellen's invisible necronomicon lvl3, died by magnus' and ursa's (radiance) AOE damage. you can also see rooftrellens eye on the tree on the case of magnus' death

    ReplyDelete
  25. you know, anyone who kills the blue necronomicon gets damaged themselves in return.

    ReplyDelete
  26. If it is blue necronomicon..
you should can see the animation of the blue necronomicon dyin...lyk the reddish orange explosion

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hi guys,
The 1st Killer should be an invisible necro of lvl3 standing behind the creep, and splash of magnus killed blue necro, who causing an explosion killed Magnus.
reason: you can see die Tree-eye, and the explosion animation after the kill. And the vision don't dissapeared, cause the tree-eye.
The 2nd Killer maybe the watcher with iron shell.
reason: 1. that cannot be a hero there, cause the vision dissapeared after the kill before the killer got the money. so that mean there must be an invisible unit, who killed ursa and at the same time killed himself. That can just be, a watcher with iron shell killed ursa and at the same time the radi aoe killed watcher.(i hope so :) )

  28. yeah. the first video is an easy one. blue necro involved. after the screen zooms in and magnus dies, you see the small explosion of the blue necro.

the second one is tricky, though. i'm not convinced it's a watcher with ion shell because the damage that ursa takes isn't consistent enough (his icon on the top left corner doesn't indicate it)

    ReplyDelete
  29. yeah but it's impossible to tell how consistent the damage is since his icon isn't there so.. the second one is a challenge. there weren't any projectiles involved, either. =/

  30. If you think this is scary, then you should play the map "Who's The Killer" its much more scarier...

    ReplyDelete
  31. If I'm not wrong, the second video, there wasn't any hero near(or watcher),[unless invulnerable] Ursa, since Radiance's AoE burn. So I guess that some long ranged passive skills damaged and killed Ursa(like Undying's Heartstopper Aura).

    ReplyDelete
  32. Correction: Its also maybe not passive but active attacks like Clockwerk Goblin's Rocket Flare.

    ReplyDelete
  33. um i think its not a necro bec. if you kill the necro u will also gain money so you will see a +100 to gold there, in the 2nd video i think its sniper w/o his 3rd skill because u cannt kill a ursa like that because hes carrying a vladmirs for lifesteal and its kinda confusing because there is a cut in the 2nd video

    ReplyDelete
  34. sniper w/o the head shot skill im sorry...

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think its not a necro bec. blue necro. has a mana burn skill so, but magnus has retained its mana

  39. invisible blue necro, both i think.

you should not expect a +gold to be seen on the screen because, it is the killer's point of view, and the + gold goes to ursa/magnataur.

you may argue that we should be able to see the invi necro if its the killer's point of view, but take a closer look on the vid.

on magnus' case, the initial POV is magnus', as we see his health and mana bar at the top left. hence, we can't see the invi necro. but the moment magnus died, there the vid blinked, and showed the +gold received by the killer, hence, the POV was immediately shifted to the killer's.
