Quite a nice guide. I pretty much agree with the build however I prefer getting guinso first. It solves all mana issues and that use is awesome. Puck is a support hero and a great ganker. With the coil, guin and rift noone is safe and it also helps you farm with that insane mana regen. With that guinso you'll finish that shiva in no time. I only take dagger for fun since it's a lot of money and Puck has very low stats. Sometimes if I'm in a lane with some int dude and we need to harass a lot I even take basilus. It doesn't cost too much and the regen and armor boost is also decent. Now let's go puck some n00bz.

dagger is a must since jaunting to your orb isn't very much reliable because enemies see your orb and tend to walk away from it because they know you will be casting your silence after you jaunt. using dagger you can coil more efficiently than just jaunting. . . btw, nice guide.. ^_^

my item build for puck is, double bracer, boots, basilus(bottle if mid lane), then rushes dagger if i can, but if i can't, i would buy perseverance first. then afterwards.........DAGGER - the ultimate item for puck, making it possible to surivive when 4 heroes with 2/3 stunners are ganking you. after dagger, i would upgrade linken if needed(making you almost impossbile to kill if you play puck well).

you don't need a super HP boosting items like HoT to make puck hard to kill. skill in using his abilities makes him already hard to kill.

Dagger is not a must, but is very useful on Puck and its team. For example, in battles with teams, all enemies will predict when you use the illusory orb, then you're gonna using silence and coil. For this main reason, the "surprise effect" of dagger is necessary. Also, daggers give you 1 more option to scape and avoid enemy spells. However, if you buy dagger be careful to farm well and always be enough HP.

early game.. (need survivability first)

Mid game.. (need mana items)

late.. (not that usefull)

i would settle for using the orb since it actually damage so you don't need to chase?? beside, what's the point of chasing if you have no more skill to use?? Unless you have a lothar critical. lol Puck is not a chase hero.

BTW nice guide. Really convinced me to remove dagon in this guy and replace it with necromicon.

Nice Guide. Not much to add. Well explained and described, especially as Puck is such a victim when pounded on him. Love these guides. I read some others ans these are really usefull for not so much experienced players
